Iryna Zarutska, 23, was killed on August 22, and Décarlos Dejuan Brown Jr., who had been arrested more than a dozen times, including an accusation of armed robbery for which he served five years in prison before the fatal train, was accused of first degree murder.

“Finally, we withdraw dangerous criminals from our streets so that we can make sure that no one else suffers from the sorrow that Iyna Zarutska’s family has endured,” said Charlotte republican press release.

The Republicans, including President Donald Trump, blamed Zarutska’s death against the Democrats, accusing them of being sweet for crime.

“The blood of this innocent woman can literally be seen dripping from the killer’s knife, and now her blood is in the hands of the Democrats who refuse to put bad people in prison, including the former disgrace governor and the budding senator ” Roy Cooper,” wrote Trump on Trum social after the attack.

The violent stab wounds aroused indignation, in particular after the release of the security video showing that the attack was released.

“We can and must do more to ensure people’s safety,” said Stein in a video Published on social networks Friday. “When I review the public security legislation that comes to my office, I use a simple test: does that make people safer?”

He said that the “Iryna law” alerts the judiciary to take a particular look at who could justify a “unusual” risk of violence before determining their surety.

“It’s a good thing and why I signed it.”

But, he said that he had criticisms of the law, in particular that he focuses more on the ability of a defendant to deposit a deposit rather than on the threat they represent, and “more alarming”, he added that a last minute amendment to the bill which “aims to provoke the execution of the shooting team in North Carolina. It is barbaric”.

The last execution in North Carolina took place in 2006.
