Noem promises the application of ice cream to the Super Bowl 60, calls the NFL “so weak” on safety

Internal security secretary Kristi Noem said that the immigration authorities will apply the law to the Super Bowl 60 at the Levi’s stadium in Santa Clara, California, before criticizing the NFL, which, according to her, was “so weak”.

Noem spoke with Benny Johnson on “The Benny Show” when she was questioned about Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican reggaeton artist who was to perform in the half-time show and the presence of American immigration and the customs’ application (ICE).

Bad Bunny, three times winner of the Grammy, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, said last month that he would not occur in the United States during his next tour because of concerns about potential ice raids during shows.

“I have the responsibility to make sure that all those who go to the Super Bowl have the opportunity to appreciate it and go safe. This is what America,” Noem told Johnson. “We will be everywhere in this place.”

Noem said that those who frequent a big game should be respectful of the laws “who love this country”.

Johnson asked Noem about the decision to play Bad Bunny, given his opinions on the ice.

“They are zero and we will win,” said Noem about the NFL. “God will bless us, and we will be proud of ourselves at the end of the day. And they will not be able to sleep at night because they don’t know what they believe.

“They are so weak. We will repair it.”

Earlier in the week, Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski warned that ICE agents would be present at the game.

“There is nowhere where you can provide a safe refuge to people who are illegally in this country,” said Lewandowski on “The Benny Show”. “Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else. We will find you and understand you and put you in a detention center and expel you. Know that this is a very real situation under this administration, which is contrary to the way it was before.”

Bad Bunny frequently criticized ice raids and ice agents.

“But there was the problem of-like, the F — ING ice could be outside (my concert). And that is something we are talking about and very concerned,” he told ID last month.
