EXCLUSIVE: The president of the Mike Johnson room, R-La., Accuses the Democrats to lie in their denials that they are pushing to give health care to illegal immigrants.

“The idea you would like illegal foreigners to be paid by American taxpayers is unacceptable,” said Johnson on Wednesday.

The Top House Republican met Fox News Digital for an interview on the first full day of the current government’s closure, a few hours after the Senate Democrats again rejected the GOP’s proposal to maintain the federal agencies funded at the level of the financial year (FY) 2025 until November 21.

The accusations of the Republicans according to which the Democrats try to reverse the changes of the GOP in the Medicaid system in favor of illegal immigrants were a particularly important flash point in the fight, with those on the left who attack this assertion as a lie.

But Johnson stressed that the own counter-proprietorship of Democrats for a financing bill included a provision that would have completely overturned the recent changes in the MEDICAIDS of the Republicans in the “Big and Beautiful Bill” (OBBB) signed on July 4.

“What we are trying to do is strengthen Medicaid, and one of the very important things we had to do is ensure that more than a million illegal foreigners who do not collect who were not allowed in the program,” said Johnson.

“So when they say they want to repeal the provisions of the OBBB health care, that’s it and that is the rural hospital. We have put $ 50 billion in a fund to support our rural hospitals, and that would make real damage (if it were finished).”

In the United States, people without legal status are already prohibited at the federal level of access to benefits like Medicaid.

And the Democrats, who also put pressure for any financing agreement to extend the improved subsidies of Obamacare which should expire at the end of this year, insisted that they are fighting to preserve health care for the Americans.

The Republican bill has set up a 20 -hour work requirement per week for certain valid people on Medicaid, even for American citizens, to whom the Democrats have opposed.

The chief of the Hakeem Jeffries House minority, DN.Y., on Wednesday told CNN of the illegal complaint of immigrants: “Taxpayers’ dollars cannot be spent for Medicaid or Medicare or the Act respecting affordable care related to undocumented immigrants, and not a single Democrat raised the question of the search for federal law.

However, 14 states and the Columbia district, which all use a mixture of federal and state dollars to finance Medicaid, allow a certain level of health coverage funded by the State for residents without status of legal immigration. These programs are active in places that have expanded their Medicaid populations under Obamacare, officially called the Act respecting affordable care (ACA).

Hospitals also receive federal dollars to cover MEDICAIDE emergency financing, which is available for people who meet all MEDICAIDE eligibility conditions, with the exception of immigration status in the event of immediate disadvantage.

OBB, however, reduces the amount of federal dollars that these hospitals get.

The GOP policy bill also strengthens railing that can obtain coverage of Medicaid, with the exception of certain groups of asylum seekers and refugees who, otherwise, would have qualified for a certain level of coverage.

Republicans argue that millions of people who have illegally entered the United States have been poorly granted at least temporary legal status under former president Joe Biden, and should therefore not be eligible for the same advantages as other legal immigrants – a point that Johnson also suggested during his interview.

“President Biden added all these people on the rolls, and he kept the border open for four years,” said Johnson. “They put them in the benefits of taxpayers.”

While Biden has brought significant restrictions on asylum and illegal entry through the border towards the end of its mandate, its relaxation of the restrictions of the Trump Administration era in 2021 is accused of having helped to precipitate a record number of illegal immigrants entering the United States

“”The illegal extraterrestrials cannot obtain Medicaid, but that is only true since July 4, and the reason why it is a real statement is that we have adopted it and that all the Democrats voted against this, “said Johnson.” They therefore want to reverse what we have done. I mean, it’s just and simple. “”
