The FBI officially rejects the ADL partnership in the middle of the controversy of the extremist group

EXCLUSIVE – The director of the FBI, Kash Patel, reduces the links with the anti-diploma league that the office forged under his former boss James Comey.

“James Comey disgraced the FBI by writing” love letters “to ADL agents and integrating an extreme group operating as a terrorist organization and the shameful operation they ran hoping for the Americans. It was not police,” Patel told Fox News Digital.

“This time is over. This FBI officially rejects Comey’s policies and any partnership with ADL,” he added.

The ADL published a statement on Wednesday evening saying that it had “deep respect” for the office and the police.

“While we are preparing to observe the healthiest day of the year on the Jewish calendar, we saw the Director of the FBI Patel director concerning the FBI relationship with ADL,” wrote the organization in a graphic Shared on X.

“ADL has a deep respect for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the agents of the police at all levels of the country who work tirelessly every day to protect all Americans, regardless of their ancestry, their religion, their ethnic origin, their faith, their political affiliation or any other point of difference.”

The organization then reaffirmed its commitment to fight against anti -Semitism.

On May 8, 2017, Comey spoke to the national summit of national leadership of the anti-division league in Washington, DC and declared its “love” and the FBI for the organization. He began by referring to a 2014 speech that he called a “love letter to ADL”, adding: “Three years later, I can say, from the FBI point of view, we are still in love with you.”

“We not only educate, we work with the ADL to build bridges in the communities we serve,” said Comey in his 2017 speech.

“For more than 100 years, you have pleaded for equity and equality … And for all this, we are grateful. As an agency of the police and national security, yes. But also as a American. As human beings,” said Comey.

He concluded his speech with the words “Love, the FBI”.

The ADL recently faced an Elon Musk backlash and republican legislators to register Turning Point USA (TPUSA), the organization of Charlie Kirk, as an extremist group. Consequently, the group abolished all its “glossary from extremism and hatred” on Tuesday.

“With more than 1,000 entries written over many years, the ADL glossary of extremism has served as a source of high -level information on a wide range of subjects for years. ADL wrote on x Regarding the glossary. “We have also seen a certain number of intentionally distorted and poorly used entries.”

The organization also said that the glossary retirement would allow it to “explore new strategies and creative approaches to provide our data and present our research more efficiently”.

“This will be focused on the guarantee of doing what we do best: fighting anti -Semitism and hatred in the most impactful way possible.”

How the indictment of James Comey could go south for the doj

The indignation comes almost three weeks after Kirk’s assassination during an event at the University of Utah Valley.

“The FBI took their definitions of” hate group “of ADL, which is why the FBI was investigating Charlie Kirk (and) Turning Point, instead of his murderers,” wrote Musk in an article on X. In a separate article, Musk called the ADL “a group of hatred”.

Representative Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., Said that the organization should explain its categorization of Tpusa.

“It seems to me as if they do not agree with you, they will call you” hate group “,” wrote Luna on X.

The TPUSA background page on the ADL website is a “center of extremism” label and describes the conservative group as having links with “a range of right-wing extremists and has generated the support of anti-Muslim fanatics, alt-literal militants and the corners of the altar white supremacist”.

Fox News Digital contacted the ADL to comment but did not immediately receive an answer.
