Trump tells military leaders “I have a 100%back” in Quantico

President Donald Trump told senior military leaders on Tuesday that they had his firm support when he was trying to rekindle the “warrior spirit” in the American soldiers.

Trump delivered what he called a “very simple” message to the senior leaders of the Marine Corps University on the basis of the Marine Cantico in Virginia.

“We are a team. And therefore my message is very simple,” said the president. “I am with you, I support you, and as president, I have your back 100%.”

Trump told the superior military leaders that “together we reappear the warrior spirit”, invoking the names of people. George S. Patton, Omar Bradley and Douglas MacArthur.

Trump said the navy, air forces and space forces have all achieved or exceeded their recruitment objectives after the recruitment difficulties under the Biden administration, and have presented changes to the military.

“We focus on physical form, capacity, character and strength,” he said. “And it is because the goal of the American army is not to protect the feelings of anyone. It is to protect our Republic.”

Trump criticized what he described as an evolution towards politically correct and far from merit in the army and his leadership.

“The apparatus of our country has not been set up for merit,” said Trump. “It has been set up for politically correct. And you can never be great if you are going to do it.”

“We will not be politically correct with regard to the defense of American freedom, and we will be a combat and victory machine,” he continued. “We want to fight. We want to win, and we want to fight as little as possible.”
