After an illegal extraterrestrial, Ian Andre Roberts, the superintendent of the public schools of Iowa monks, was arrested by Ice, the Republicans whistled the fact that he was an active democratic voter recorded in the state of Maryland.

According to the official website of Maryland State Board of Elections, Roberts, which exceeded a student visa from 1999, has an active voter status and is registered as a democrat in Maryland. The development was reported for the first time by the columnist Dustin Grage.

The Republican State delegate Matt Morgan, president of Maryland House Freedom Caucus, told Fox News Digital that Roberts’ recording means that it is eligible to vote in all the federal, state and local elections despite not being an American citizen, and also despite the fact that he probably did not live in Maryland in the last decade.

Morgan explained that there is nothing in the law of Maryland, which allows non-citizens to be registered to vote in the federal or state elections, even if Roberts was still a legal resident.

Now the House Freedom Caucus requests responses from the Maryland State Elections Commission on the “gaping holes” in state electoral integrity systems.

In a letter sent to the Elections Council on Monday, the Caucus Freedom also asked for answers on the reasons for which the board of directors “obstructed a valid request from the Ministry of Justice to guarantee compliance with federal electoral laws, citing the application of immigration as the main concern.

Morgan underlined a letter that the Council of Elections sent to the Ministry of Justice in August in which the state administrator of the elections Jared Demarinis spoke that if the council gave the information of voters to the federal government, this data would be used to “used for the application of immigration laws against residents of Maryland”.

Commenting on the letter, Morgan asked: “If illegal foreigners are not allowed to vote, why would they be on the shutters of voters in the first place? And how would it improve the application of immigration? I do not know, but it is the excuse they wrote to the doj.”

“It’s ridiculous,” he continued, adding that “everyone reasonable wants a safe and secure election.”

Before his arrest by ICE, Roberts led the public schools of the monks, the largest academic district of the State, although it was not legally authorized to work in the United States after its employment authorization card expired in 2020, according to the authorities.

He was arrested last week on a fugitive mandate. The ice agents arrested Roberts after trying to flee and were found hidden in the brush. The vehicle that Roberts was driving was found with $ 3,000 in cash, a fixed blade hunting knife and a loaded Glock 19 firearm, Ice said.

Roberts also had accusations of possession of illegal weapons from 2020 and received a final dismissal order in 2024.

Iowa state Roberts education license revoked Sunday, triggering the school board of the monks to place it on unpaid leave.

“We have been informed that the Board of Educational Examinations of Iowa revoked the license of doctor Roberts to train as a superintendent in the state of Iowa. Without such a license, Doctor Roberts does not comply with his contract,” said Jackie Norris, president of the school board.

Morgan said that although the case of Roberts is confusing, he fears that he is just the tip of the iceberg with regard to illegal foreigners registered to vote in Maryland.

“We do not know how widespread this. We hear rumors, but we have no idea,” he said.

“It is an unexplored territory,” he added.
