Former vice-president Kamala Harris has made several criticisms of the Blanche Maison de Biden’s communication team in his new book, Peining A Picture of A Staff who did not do much to defend her.

“They had a huge communication team; they had Karine Jean-Pierre every day in the press room,” wrote Harris in her book “107 Days”, published on Tuesday and providing a detailed overview of his unhappy presidential race.

“But getting something positive said about my work or any defense against false attacks was almost impossible.”

Harris added that the inner circle of the “President seemed well with that” when stories “unfair or inaccurate” on Harris circulated and that he “even seemed that they decided that I had to be overturned a little more”.

In a chapter entitled “July 24, 104 days until the election”, Harris suggested that the Biden team was not only useless, but sometimes worked against it in the past.

“It was a total nonsense, but the White House seemed happy to leave reports on my” blunder “overwhelming the significant thaw in the foreign relations that I had accomplished,” Harris wrote about the White House which did not postpone the media relationships that she had “faked a French accent” in 2021.

“Worse, I have often learned that the president’s staff added fuel to negative stories that arose around me,” wrote Harris.

Harris challenged the book with the Republicans who “stretched out” his role as “border Tsar” and deplored that “nobody in the White House communications team helped me to repel effectively and explain what I was responsible for doing” or “highlight the progress I had made”.

In another part of the book, Harris wrote on the way Biden began to “take water” on the conflict between Hamas and Israel, saying that “when the polls indicated that I became more popular, the people around him did not like the contrast that emerged”.

Harris also provided details on his difficulties with Biden’s campaign staff before and after she became the candidate, writing specifically on the meetings that the Bide-Harris team had during the campaign in a white house pavilion.

“These political briefings often made no sense for me,” wrote Harris. “Mike Donilon would filter the data from the polls and present the figures in soothing terms: that the results of the razor, thin, in the margin of errors, were not a cause of hair on fire; that there was really nothing to do here. Doug had wanted to stop sitting alongside me because he tired of me by doing him under the table when I asked a question.”

“My chief of staff, Lorraine Vales, turned to me when we left one of these meetings and said: ‘If I ever organized this kind of dog bullshit and pony – for you, you would have your head on a tray.'”

Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, was also cited in the book with strong words for the Biden team while Harris told a case where his staff evaluated the couple about their loyalty to Biden on July 4, shortly before Biden withdrew from the race.

“They hide you for four years, give you impossible, SH jobs, do not correct the record when these tasks are wrong, never break you when you are attacked, never praise your achievements, and now, they want you to be there on this balcony, standing next to them,” said Emhoff. “Now, finally, they know you are an asset, and they need you to reassure the American people. And they still have to ask if we are faithful?”

In the end, Harris concluded that Biden’s White House was wrongly working using “zero sum” thought.

“If she shines, he is attenuated,” wrote Harris. “None of them grabbed if I was doing well, he did well. That given the concerns about his age, my visible success as vice-president was vital. This would testify to his judgment by choosing me and reassuring that if something happened, the country was in good hands. My success was important for him. His team had not understood it.”
