President Donald Trump criticized the United Nations for not having helped the peace push of his administration and to “create new problems” for the American and members, while questioning his objective and offering “the hand of American leadership and friendship” to all the countries of the body.

The president, during his first speech of his second administration in the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, underlined a renewed American force while slamming the international organization.

“Not only does the UN not solve the problems it should, too often, creates new problems to solve,” said the president. “The best example is the number one political question of our time: the crisis of uncontrolled migration. It is uncontrolled. Your countries are ruined.”

The president said that the UN “finances an assault against Western countries and their borders”.

“The UN supports people who come to the United States illegally, and we have to take them out,” said Trump. “The UN has also provided food, shelter, transport and debit cards to illegal extraterrestrials.”

He added: “The UN is supposed to stop invasions – not create them and not finance them.”

Trump said illegal immigrants “also pour into Europe.”

“It is not lasting and, because they choose to be politically correct, they do absolutely nothing,” said Trump, adding later: “Your countries go to hell. In America, we have taken daring measures to quickly close uncontrolled migration.”

“Once we have started to hold and expel all those who crossed the border and removing illegal foreigners from the United States, they just stop coming. They no longer come,” said Trump, while thanking El Salvador to “receive and imprison criminals” who entered the United States.

During his speech, the president underlined his successful efforts to negotiate peace in the world – in particular Armenia and Azerbaijan, Thailand and Cambodia, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, among others.

“I finished seven wars, and in any case, they were raging with countless thousands of people killed,” he said. “This includes Cambodia, India and Thailand, Kosovo and Serbia, Congo and Rwanda, a vicious violent war that was Pakistan and India, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia and Armenia and Azerbaijan.”

He added: “No president or Prime Minister, and moreover, no other country has ever done anything. And I did it in just seven months. It has never happened before. There was nothing like it.”

The president then gave another blow to the UN

“I am very honored to have done it. It is a shame that I had to do these things instead that the United Nations will do them. And unfortunately, in any case, the United Nations did not even try to help in any of them,” said Trump. “I finished seven wars, treated with the leaders of each of these countries, and I have never even received a telephone call from the United Nations to help finalize the agreement.”

“I did not think about it at the time because I was too busy working to save millions of lives-that is to say to save and stop these wars,” said Trump. “But later, I realized that the United Nations were not there for us. They were not there.”

“That being the case, what is the purpose of the United Nations?” Trump asked. “The UN has enormous potential … But it does not even get closer to this potential. All they seem to do is write a very strongly formulated letter and never follow this letter – these are empty words.”

Trump added: “Empty words do not solve war. The only thing that solves war and wars is action.”

Meanwhile, the president praised America under his direction as having “the strongest economy, the strongest borders, the strongest soldiers, the strongest friendships and the strongest spirit of all nation on the face of the earth”.

“It is indeed the golden age of America,” said Trump.

The president added that the United States is “again the best country in the world to do business”.

“And many people in this room invest in America, and it turned out to be a terribly good investment during this eight-month period,” he said.

The president praised his visit to the Middle East in May to “rebuild our partnerships” in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

“My administration has negotiated a historic trade agreement after the other, especially with the United Kingdom, the European Union, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and many others,” said Trump.

The president also said that under his direction, America is “respected again, as if it had never been respected before”.

“At the NATO summit in June, practically all NATO members officially committed to increasing defense spending, at my request, from 2% to 5% of GDP, which makes our alliance much stronger and more powerful than it has ever been,” said the president.

The president has put his criticism of the United Nations, wondering if the UN can “play a productive role” in world peace.

“I came here today to offer the hand of American leadership and friendship to any nation of this assembly which is ready to join us to forge a safer and more prosperous world,” said Trump. “And it is a world that will be much happier with a radically better future at our reach. But to get there, we must reject the failed approaches to the past and work together to face some of the greatest threats in history.”

Trump said there was “no more danger for our planet today than the most powerful and destructive weapons ever designed by humans, whose United States, as you know, have a lot.”

“Just as I did during my first mandate, I made these threats contain an absolute priority, starting with the Nation of Iran. My position is very simple: the number one terror godfather in the world can never be allowed to have the most dangerous weapon,” said Trump. “This is why, shortly after having taken office, I sent to the supreme chief a letter making a generous offer – I extended a commitment to complete cooperation in exchange for a suspension of the Iranian nuclear program.”

Trump added: “The regime’s response was to continue their constant threats to their neighbors and the American interest throughout the region and some major countries that are just nearby.”

But Trump praised his decline and said: “Today, many former military commanders of Iran, in fact, I can say almost all, are no longer with us. They are dead.”

The president underlined his operation Midnight Hammer, who marked the biggest B-2 operational strike in history and represented the decision of the United States to carry a decisive blow against the Iranian nuclear program in June.

The president said that he had then “immediately negotiated the end of the 12 -day war, as it is called, between Israel and Iran, the two parties agreeing to fight, no longer fight”.

“As everyone knows, I was also deeply engaged in the search for a ceasefire in Gaza. We have to do it-must do so,” said Trump. “Unfortunately, Hamas has repeatedly rejected reasonable offers to make peace. We cannot forget on October 7, right?”

“Now, as if to encourage continuous conflicts, part of this organ seeks to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state,” said Trump. “The awards would be too big for Hamas terrorists for their atrocities. It would be a reward for these horrible atrocities, including October 7, even if they refuse to release the hostages or accept the cease-fire.”

Trump demanded that nations do not give in to Hamas.

“Instead of giving in to Hamas ransom requests, those who want peace should be united to a message: release the hostages now,” said Trump. “Just release the hostages now. We have to do it.”
