The Ministry of Internal Security criticizes the Democratic Governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, for having failed to respond to a chaotic anti-gloss riot in a suburbs of Chicago which forced the federal authorities to deploy tear gas and other non-lethal measures.

In a statement on Monday, the ministry said that the police “under the jurisdiction of the sanctuary of JB Pritzker had refused to answer several calls for help”.

Fox News Digital reported last Friday that federal officials clashed with a group of demonstrators who prevented ice vehicles from the entrance and exit of a BroadView, Illinois treatment installation.

The DHS qualified the “rioters” demonstrators and said that so far the federal police have arrested 16 rioters. The agency said that “the rioters and the sanctuary politicians hampered the police, threw cans of tear gas, rocks, bottles and fireworks, cut car tires, blocked the entrance to the building and intrused private property”. DHS said the rioters had also attacked law enforcement officials.

Matt Hill, a spokesperson for Pritzker, replied by telling Fox News Digital that “it is completely wrong to suggest that the municipalities of the State or the premises have obstructed federal officials”.

“The state has not received several calls for the help of the federal government and would remind them of the importance of coordinating with local police to protect public security,” said Hill. He added: “Governor Pritzker was clear that violence is unacceptable and that everyone must follow the law, which includes federal agents concerning constitutional rights to peaceful demonstrations”.

“The media must show extreme caution before reporting what the Trump administration says given its file of lies, lack of transparency and non-coordinates with the local state and police,” said Hill.

The DHS press release said that the demonstration disrupted an operation targeting “some of the worst of the worst – including criminals recognized guilty of drug trafficking, domestic violence, alcohol consumption and conduct and aggression”, which have been transformed into the establishment.

The agency underlined some of the illegal criminals that were treated when the demonstration broke out.

Among these were Andres Venturara-Uvaldo, an illegal national and criminal Mexican, who, according to the agency, had already been arrested for crime of the duty and domestic violence.

Another, Alberto Algeria Barron, also a Mexican national, has already been removed from the United States in 2014 and was found guilty for a domestic battery twice, according to the DHS.

Erwin Jose Roa-Mustafa, an illegal foreigner from the Dominican Republic, was also treated in the establishment after pleading guilty of the federal accusations of conspiracy and the intention to distribute a substance and a controlled possession with the intention of distributing fentanyl.

DHS said ICE also dealt with another alleged drug trafficker, Ibis Alberto Testa Nunez, Mexico, who has already been arrested by the Drug Encompement Administration for possession and possession of cocaine with the intention of distributing.

Two others, Salvador Alcantar-Alcantar, of Mexico, have already been arrested for Dui, intrusion and assault, and Carlos Eduardo Chavez-Cardenas, of Bolivia, has already been condemned for Dui and possession of drugs, according to the DHS.

“These odious criminals, including domestic aggressors, drug traffickers, violent delinquents and drunk drivers are some of the illegal foreigners detained in the Ice BroadView Processing Center,” said DHS assistant secretary, Tricia McLaughlin.

“These Illinois rioters are fighting to keep the rapists, the murderers and other violent criminals in the streets of Illinois,” said McLaughlin. “Instead of riots, they should thank ice officers who wake up every day and make our communities safer.”

This occurs while the DHS indicates that ice managers are faced with an increase of more than 1,000% of attacks because they carry out operations in Illinois.
