First on Fox: A democratic hope race for the American Senate constitutes a brand of civility in politics, but four years ago, it argued that the “radicalized white men” were the greatest interior terrorist threat of the nation.

The representative of the State of Texas, Jame Talarico, D-Texas, threw his hat in the Democratic primary in the Lone Star State to run against the former representative Colin Allred, D-Texas. Talarico launched his campaign earlier this month with a message that he wanted to restore the unit and calm the noise from division from social media and cable information.

The two are in the running so that the Democratic appointment appears for the headquarters of Senator John Cornyn, R-Texas. Cornyn is currently engaged in a difficult challenge against the Attorney General of Texas Ken Paxton.

In the wake of the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, Talarico condemned his murder and, despite a big difference in their politics, said that he had found a happy medium in their common faith.

“I am tired of being opposed to my neighbor,” said Talarico in the hours that followed the news of Kirk’s death. “I am tired that I am told to hate my neighbor. People through the political spectrum of this state and in this country are hungry for a different type of policy, not a policy of fear, not a policy of hatred, not a policy of violence, but a love policy, a love that can cure what is broken in this country.”

But four years earlier, he used fierce rhetoric online.

“Black Americans in a church. Americans of Mexican origin in a store. Asian American in a spa,” said Talarico.

“Radicalized white men are the greatest domestic terrorist threat in our country,” he continued.

Talarico post That day was in response to a mass shooting in three spas in Atlanta on March 16, 2021, by the suspect Robert Aaron Long who made eight dead people.

He then wrote in the same thread, “as a white man, I am sensitive to the same radicalization”, and he said that he planned to write and deposit the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the Legislative Assembly of Texas.

Joanna Rodriguez, spokesperson for the National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC), accused that “in recent years, Democrat James Talarico has falsely accused the Republicans of having tried to create an authoritarian national Christian state ” and a Christofascist theocracy ”.”.

“He is one of the many extremist and on the left Democrats who will vilivate the Republicans at all costs, because it praises him of the Wobe Mob crowd and the Texas voters never elect him at an office on a state-of-the-scale scale because of this,” she said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

JT Ennis, a campaign spokesperson for Talarico, retaliated: “For years, James called the tutorial algorithms of billionaires who often radicalize young men in the dark corners of the Internet.”

“As a young man himself, James feels the responsibility of denouncing this for-profit economy that destroys our young people-recently addressed to this crisis in his widely disseminated comments calling for a love policy following the assassination of Charlie Kirk,” he said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “This is how we lower the temperature.”

There are other cases in the same year when Talarico used ardent rhetoric against the eminent Texas politicians, notably Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas and Governor Greg Abbott, R-Texas.

January 6, 2021, Talarico posted, “You have sacrificed your country for your ambition. You are not a senator, you are a traitor”, in response to Cruz calls to people “taking the Capitol” to stop.

And November 19, 2021, Talarico has energized Abbott for having celebrated the not guilty verdict of Kyle Rittenhouse after being charged for having inevitably pulled two people during a night of civil disorders in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after the Jacob Blake police shooting.

“Are you our governor or a white supremacist troll?” he asked at the time.

Ennis also defended the rhetoric of Talarico in these moments.

“Texans need leaders who are fighting for their principles – like calling those who promote the insurrection and violence – while working in the aisle to issue bipartite legislation that advances things for workers,” he said. “James is this kind of leader.”
