Trump calls Charlie Kirk ‘Martyr for American Freedom’ at Memorial

President Donald Trump praised the inheritance of the founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, calling him “martyr for American freedom”.
“I know that I speak for everyone here today when I say that none of us will never forget Charlie Kirk, and the story either,” Trump told the tens of thousands of supporters gathered to celebrate Charlie Kirk’s life at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, in Arizona.

Trump spoke of Kirk’s passion for the mobilization of young conservatives, his unwavering dedication to the country and the movement he leaves behind. The president described Kirk as a “missionary with a noble mind”, saying that the 31 -year -old activist had played a decisive role by helping him win the 2024 elections.

“He didn’t deserve this and our country did not deserve it,” said Trump, adding that Kirk’s assassination was an attack on American democracy.
Trump survived two assassination attempts.
The president also declared that he would honor Kirk to the White House by presenting his family the presidential medal of freedom, the greatest civil honor of the country.

Trump’s speech, which also highlighted the fundamental priorities of his administration, followed those of the widow of Kirk, Erika, and several high -ranking members of his administration.
Vice-president JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Health and Social Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard national intelligence director was among some of Trump’s offices who spoke to the commemorative service.

At the end of his speech, Trump shared the scene with Erika Kirk and kissed her as “God injuries America” played through the stadium, marking the conclusion of the commemorative service.

Kirk was Murdered September 10 During an outdoor event at the University of Utah Valley. The rally was the first stop of the planned American return tour of TPUSA.
The charismatic Kirk, known for its signature debates on university campuses, sat in a white tent sporting the slogan “Prove me the opposite”, taking open micro questions from a crowd of thousands of people.

At 18, Kirk abandoned the community college to co-found Tpusa. In mid-Vings, he became the youngest speaker Republican National Convention in 2016 and familiar name in conservative circles. At 31, he ordered a political empire of $ 95 million, galvanized millions of followers online and established a direct line to Trump.
His widow, Erika, promised to continue the energetic movement which has undoubtedly reshaped the policy of young conservatives. TPUSA recently announced that it would assume the roles of the CEO and the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Thandrew Kolvet, executive producer of “The Charlie Kirk Show”, said TPUSA, received more than 62,000 requests to establish new chapters on the campus during the two weeks which followed the assassination of Kirk – an overvoltage which would add to its existing 900 national network.

“For all fans of” The Charlie Kirk Show “, we will see you on Monday,” Kolvet said during his commemorative service. “Until then, complete-let’s go,” he added, promising to continue the mission of Kirk.
Last week, Kolvet told Fox News Digital that he had “personally received hundreds of work offers” for Tpusa.
