The American Senate adopts the resolution of the national day of Charlie Kirk

The American Senate adopted a resolution declaring on October 14, 2025, the anniversary of the conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, as national day of the memory of Charlie Kirk.
The new resolution designates the day as an opportunity for “Americans to think about Kirk’s contributions to public debate and civic commitment”.
The resolution also recognizes KIRK for its contributions to civic education and the public service and encourages educational establishments, civic organizations and citizens through the United States to observe this day with programs, activities, prayers and appropriate ceremonies which promote civic engagement and the principles of faith, liberation and democracy that Charlie Kirk has defended.
Senator Rick Scott, R-Fla., Announced first of all the designation of the resolution September 16 and said Kirk was a “magnetic leader, a loving father and husband, and a friend and inspiration for so many people”.
“Charlie loved our nation and its founding principles and deeply believed in his faith, his family and the beauty of ideas and discussions,” he added.
