The former Chief of the White House Staff, Jeff Zients, is in Capitol Hill on Thursday when the survey of the chamber’s surveillance committee on the mental acuity of former president Joe Biden fits in line.

He did not say anything to journalists on his way in his voluntary interview behind closed doors. It is expected to last at around 10 a.m.

ZIENS is the latest former manager of Biden who should be interviewed by the Committee, who also seeks whether the president of the time was fully aware of the orders of Clémence and other executive actions signed by Autopen during the second half of his mandate.

Zient’s comments will be particularly interesting for household investigators, given its main role in Biden’s White House for most of the last two years in power.

Before that, he was advisable to the president and coordinator of the Blanche Covid-19 Blanche house response in January 2021 until April 2022.

Perhaps the most critical for the Committee is the key role reported by Zients in the channel of command for Biden automotive pardons.

Biden’s long -standing assistant said he had to win up to $ 8 million if the president had re -elected

It is not uncommon for the presidents to use an autopen to sign documents, and it was used by the leaders on both sides of the aisle.

However, the chairman of the Chamber’s supervisory committee, James Comer, R-Ky., Wonders if Biden really put these decisions, given public concerns concerning his mental and physical acuity that occurred towards the end of his mandate.

The New York Times reported that Zients would have been among the best aiders to relay Biden’s Clemence’s decisions to the assistants, who then wrote these orders before being broadcast to the senior Biden officials, then approved later.

In the same report, Biden said he had made every decision by Clemence by himself.

Axios reported Earlier this month, Zients signed pardons granted to five of Biden family members less than 24 hours before leaving their duties.

The former president’s allies postponed the surveillance investigation of the house led by the Republicans, however, denouncing the investigation as politically motivated.

“You have managed a white house in disarray after public reports began to focus on the apparent decline in the mental capacities of President Biden.

“The scope of your responsibilities – both official and other – and personal interactions within the Oval Office cannot do without a survey. If the White House staff have exercised a sustainable strategy for months, even years, to hide the state of the CEO – or to exercise its functions – Congress may need to examine a legislative response.”
