The director of the FBI, Kash Patel, and the representative Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., Faced the files of the sexual traffic cases of Jeffrey Epstein, a subject raised several times on Wednesday during a hearing of the judicial committee of the Chamber.

Swalwell, one of the many Democrats to grill a patel on the ministry of justice of the files, demanded that the director tell him any mention of President Donald Trump. Patel was not receptive to the Swalwell questioning line, leading to a back and forth in blasphemy.

“Your fixation on this issue and the baseless charges that I hide from children’s pedophiles is disgusting,” said Patel.

Swalwell focused on the conversations of the patel with the prosecutor general Pam Bondi linked to Trump after Wall Street Newspaper reported that Trump, who was once friends with Epstein, was informed by the Doj that his name had appeared in the files. Trump and several other high -level personalities, including former President Bill Clinton, ran in the same wealthy social circle as Epstein, but have never been loaded with contempt.

“The Attorney General and I have had many discussions on all of Epstein files,” said Patel.

Swalwell repeated the question several times before stating each syllable.

“Why don’t you try to spell it if you are going to make fun of me. Use the alphabet. … No? ABC,” Use Patel.

Unlocked, Swalwell said that he would take “the evasivity” of a patel as a “awareness of guilt”. Swalwell also noted how the MJ’s unsuccessful attempts to ask the courts to descend the transcriptions of the Grand Jury in the case of Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell did not make sense because the big jury contained no new non -public information and represented only a small fraction of wider files.

“Director, you played this nice Shell game where you say that you cannot free everything because the court said that legally was not authorized to be released, but the court calls the bulls **,” said Swalwell.

Swalwell has long stood out as a Trump’s political rival after having sat the House intelligence committee and openly accused Trump of collusion with Russia to influence the 2016 elections, an assertion that has never been proven following multiple federal surveys. Patel was one of the best members of the Republican staff in the Intel Committee at the same time as Swalwell served it.

In his 2023 “Gangsters” book, Patel named Swalwell as a “corrupt actor”. Swalwell noted that Patel, a former Magi Firebrand, said in his book that dozens of democrats and republicans who fell in disgrace with Trump were members of the so-called deep state. Swalwell asked Patel to recuse by investigating anyone in his book. Patel finally said that he would not reject himself, but not before a screaming match followed.

“I’m going to borrow your terminology and call bullshit on your entire career in the congress,” said Patel. “It was a shame for the American people,” he added while Swalwell shouted to recover his time and other legislators called to order.

Swalwell has been one of the many Democrats to approach Epstein’s files after the Doj missed a deployment earlier this year and finally declared that he would not disclose any other non -public information. Patel has declared a long time before becoming director of the FBI that the government covered sexual predators affiliated with Epstein.

Patel addressed the case in his declaration of opening, saying that former American lawyer Alex Acosta had not, in his opinion, asked enough information when Epstein was initially prosecuted.

“The original sin on the Epstein affair was the way it was managed by Mr. Acosta when he brought the case for the first time in 2006, seven and eight,” said Patel. “The case of origin had a very limited search warrant, had a very limited research window. … I would not have done it in this way.”

Epstein was then accused of trafficking in minor women in 2019 and, according to the authorities, died by suicide while waiting for the trial.

At the end of the hearing, the Democrats held a vote on the assignment four banks associated with Epstein, whose massive wealth remains a checkpoint. The Republicans have the effort by voting to file the motion.
