Ray Hardy, a resident of the 22 -year -old suspect’s hometown who said that his children had gone to high school with Robinson, described him as “normal”.

“It is not who we are,” said Hardy. “It is not our society. It is not our community. It is not with whom we grew up. I do not think it was the kid who grew up with us either. Something has changed and affected it, almost infected it.”

Robinson’s load documents, which are expected on Tuesday, could shed light on the suspect’s motive. The attorney general Derek Brown told Fox News Digital on Friday that Robinson could face a combination of state and federal accusations.

Governor Spencer Cox, Rutah, confirmed on Sunday that the alleged assassin of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, Tyler Robinson, has an “left ideology”, despite his conservative education.

Robinson’s parents are registered Republicans, but the registration files for Utah voters reveal that Robinson is not affiliated with a political party and that he did not vote in the last two general elections.

Another local section of the County of Washington told Fox News Digital that his brother was friends with him in high school, and he occasionally came to his family. She said that her brother had lost contact with him in recent years when he started working full time and Robinson has spent more time online.

While the community is trying to give meaning to Robinson’s attack, the Governor of Utah said that Robinson’s digital imprint could have the answers.

“It seemed to happen in a way after that, after he returned to the southern part of Utah,” said Cox about the changing ideology of Robinson. “Obviously, there have been a lot of games. Friends confirmed that there was a kind of deep and dark internet, Reddit culture and these other dark internet places where this person was going in depth. And you saw it on the envelopes.”

Robinson was a third -year student of the Electric Learning Program of the Dixie Technical College by St. George, Utah Board of Higher Education, confirmed in a press release. He attended Utah State University for less than a semester in 2021, according to Cox, despite a four -year merit scholarship.

Cox told journalists on Friday that investigators had interviewed a family member who said Robinson “had become more political in recent years.”

The New York Times reported On Saturday, Robinson sent a message in a discord cat in the hours that followed the assassination of Kirk, a joking that his “Doppelgänger” was trying to “cause me trouble”.

“He comes from a conservative family, but his ideology was very different from his family,” said Cox on “Meet the Press” on NBC on Sunday, confirming Fox News Digital reporting that Cox’s roommate in St. George is a “boyfriend who passes from man to woman”.

Cox said Robinson’s roommate co -opted with the authorities and had no prior knowledge of the attack. One of Robinson’s relatives told Fox News Digital that his transgender roommate “hates conservatives and Christians.”

The Governor of Utah told ABC on Sunday that Robinson did not cooperate and had not admitted to having murdered Kirk.

The neighbors of Robinson told Fox News Digital that they would never have expected that someone from Washington County kills Kirk.

Diana, who organized prayer boxes for the Robinson and Kirk families during the Véilée on Sunday, said that it was a huge shock and a loss for the community, but that her neighbors gathered to show their support for Robinson and Kirk families.

“This family is an incredible family,” said a neighbor when Fox News Digital asked why she left the flowers on the steps of the Robinson family home on Saturday.

The neighbor, who asked to remain anonymous, said that she had known the family for almost a decade and had visited the house a few months ago, adding that she only knew Tyler.

“It’s unfortunate what happened, but the family needs our support,” said the neighbor.

Melissa Tate, a neighbor who spoke to Fox News on Friday, said she was grateful that the family had made the “incredible decision” to help the authorities arrest their son.
