Mamdani’s positions and comments from Mamdani on Israel were a hot button problem in the race, because he faced criticism from many members of the Jewish community to refuse to explicitly denounce the expression “Globalize The Iifada”, supporting the economic boycott of Israel, surround oneself with advisers which have anti-Israeli opinions and a Social media message Last year, criticisms say they make fun of the Jewish people.
Human rights lawyer Brooke Goldstein told Fox News Digital that the term “Israeli-Palestinian conflict” is a “drawback in itself” and called the results of the “deeply disturbing” survey.
“In reality, his assessment is clear: he is an anti-Israeli radical, a pro-Hammas sympathizer in a costume, according to his functions to undermine the very fabric of what this country represents,” said Goldstein.
“The fact that this has even become a question of campaign reflects how poisoned our political system has become. Foreign agendas and bloodshed with blood have infiltrated our politics, shaping them in a hateful way.”
Goldstein continued: “Our education system, from kindergarten to the 12th year at university, radicalization of students at an alarming rate. If we do not take this seriously, and if figures like Mr. Mamdani are raised to functions, the consequences for the future of America will be disastrous.”
A spokesperson for stopantmitism also told Fox News Digital that the results of the survey are “deeply disturbing” and “underline the growing hostility towards Israel that we see in New York”, adding that a Mamdani victory would be “disastrous” for the city.

“The fact that so many New Yorkers consider Mamdani as the best voice of Israel and Palestine is a sign of the depth of anti-Semitism in the city,” the spokesman for Fox News Digital told.
“His ascent does not concern thoughtful politics, but the normalization of anti-Semitism through extremist groups, such as the Red-Vert Alliance. New Yorkers deserve leadership that unites, not the one who makes the scapegoat Israel and encourages violence against the Jews in America.”
In addition to his posts on Israel, Mamdani was strongly criticized on the issue of crime because of his appeals to the police and hostile comments on the New York Police Service.
While the majority of probable voters in New York said that crime and security are their main concern, 30%when they were asked, no matter who they support, what candidate would do the “best” crime work, said Mamdani.
Cuomo followed with 29%, Sliwa with 23%and Adams with 15%. The survey showed that a headache between Cuomo and Mamdani would considerably display Mamdani’s advance at only four points.
Rafael MANGUAL, principal scholarship holder and research manager for police and public security at the Manhattan Institute, Fox News Digital Mamdani’s figures told this category which had to have three opponents in the race.

“I read that 70% don’t trust him on crime,” said Mangual. “The problem is that skeptics about Mamdani’s approach to public security are divided between three candidates.”
Overall, the survey revealed that on the question of who people would support if the competition “had taken place today”, “46% of the probable voters of New York chose Mamdani, against only 24% who selected Cuomo.
The candidate of the Republican mayor Curtis Sliwa scored only 15%, while the outgoing mayor Eric Adams earned only 9%.

“New York is not for sale. Behind the scenes of Donald Trump and the billionaire class turn against it, because New Yorkers see Zohran Mamdani is the only candidate to fight to make the country’s most expensive city,” said Mamdani Campaign spokesperson, spokesperson Dora Pekec.
“Our campaign is busy building a movement that places workers first – mobilize thousands to get involved in the democratic process and fight for a new type of policy,” added Pekec.
