On Friday, the Connecticut Republican Party accused an official of the education of the democratic state of having published a “frightening reaction” on social networks with the death of the founder of Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk.
The party shared a screenshot of what seemed to be a social media account belonging to the president of the Farmington Board of Education, Bill Beckert, republishing a comment that said: “They harvest what they are.”
Fox News Digital contacted Beckert to comment.

“As manager responsible for the education of farmington children, you expect Mr. Beckert to show a restraint and a basic decency,” said the Republican Party of Connecticut, Ben Proto, in a statement.
“Instead, he celebrated the brutal murder of a young husband and father of two children, whose only” crime “was to have an opinion. It is grotesque. It is a betrayal of the values that each educator and civil servant should embody.”

Proto added that Kirk’s beliefs were “based on the faith and love of the country”, and he “never called for violence”.
Proto also accused Beckert of wanting to silence those who do not agree with him.
“His words are read as an approval of political violence,” wrote Proto. “Farmington’s parents and taxpayers must wonder: is that the example they want for their children?”

The State Department will warn that it will revoke the visas of foreigners who “glorify violence” after the Kirk shooting
“Farmington deserves leadership that teaches students to win arguments with the voting bulletins, and not the balls. Charlie Kirk has experienced this principle. The declaration of President Beckert shows that he rejects him. The community must decide what lesson it wants her schools to teach.”
In Florida, a teacher was suspended after having pretended to share a position on social networks that said: “It may not be Bill. We all hoped to wake up, but it’s a narrow second for me.”

In response, Florida’s education commissioner Anastasios Kamoutsas wrote in a service note sent to the superintendents of state schools this week which said that the Florida Ministry of Education planned to investigate all state teachers who engage in “vile and sanctioned behaviors” linked to the death of Kirk.
