Fox News Digital contacted the Washington Post to comment on the White House response.
Brown’s mother, who had not identified himself, said on TV of the local point of sale in August that her son had long fought against mental illness, noting that he “began to say strange things” after his prison release for the conviction for theft in 2015.
“My heart goes to the victim’s family. What he did was excruciating. It was horrible. It was bad,” she told WSOC-TV.
