With less than two months before election day, Zohran Mamdani has a dominant advance on his rivals for the mayor of New York, according to two new polls.
Mamdani, the legislator of the 33 -year -old Democratic Socialist State of Queens, who shocked the political world in June with his convincing victory over former governor Andrew Cuomo and nine other candidates to capture the appointment to the mayor of the Democratic Party, sits on 22 points on Cuomo and the rest of the field in the two new armies.
Mamdani takes 45% support from the probable voters in New York in a Quinnipiac University survey published on Wednesday.

The co-founder of Guardian Angels, Curtis Sliwa, who, for a second consecutive election, is the Republican candidate for the town hall in the city dominated by the Democrats, is 15%. And the outgoing mayor besieged Eric Adams, who presents himself as independent after having decided to jump the Democratic primary in the middle of the anemic survey, took support of 12% in the survey.
Mamdani competes with abandonment despite the long chances in the battle of the mayor of New York
The margin of Mamdani on Cuomo in the Quinnipiac survey was the same as its 46% advance to 24% on the former governor in a survey of the New York Times / Siena College published on Tuesday.

“In a mayor’s race which seems to become more intense day by day, Zohran Mamdani is on the back less than two months until the ballot day,” said assistant director of the survey of Quinnipiac University, Mary Snow.
Sliwa and Adams have both committed to staying in the race in recent weeks in the midst of several reports that President Donald Trump’s advisers have exercised administrative roles for the two hopes of the town hall if they abandoned.
Trump says Cuomo had a “good blow” to beat Mamdani in the elections of the mayor of New York

“I would like to see two people abandon and be one over it. And I think it’s a race that could be won,” Trump said last week.
The Quinnipiac survey suggested that if Adams finished his re -election campaign, Mamdani would lead Cuomo 46% to 30% with Sliwa at 17%.
But the New York Times / Siena survey, which was on the field from September 2 to 6, underlined the border of Mamdani Cuomo 48% -44% in a hypothetical match with two candidates.
The Quinnipiac survey suggests that Mamdani donors are more enthusiastic (91%) about their candidate than Cuomo (75%), Adams (75%) or Sliwa (79%).
“The advantage of Mamdani on enthusiasm among supporters is a plus,” noted Snow.
If he wins the general elections of November, the Mamdani, born Ugandan, would make history as the first Muslim mayor and first millennium in the most populous city in the country.
Mamdani has reached the primary democratic victory thanks to an energetic campaign which has emphasized the affordability and the high cost of New York life. It was fueled by an army of basic supporters and the support of the best national national champions, including Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York and Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont.
