The State Department will monitor the words of foreign nationals who “glorify violence” after Charlie Kirk’s shooting and take “appropriate measures”.
“In the light of yesterday’s horrible assassination of a leading political figure, I want to emphasize that foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country,” wrote Deputy Secretary of State Landau on X.
“I have been disgusted to see it on social networks renting, rationalizing or shedding light on the event, and I ordered our consular officials to take appropriate action. Do not hesitate to attract such comments by foreigners to my attention so that the @Statetept can protect the American people. “”

The State Department has already revoked more than 6,000 student visas, because the beneficiaries had exceeded visas or violates the law. The “vast majority” of legal violations was assault, leading to influence, burglary or “support for terrorism”.

Kirk addressed a question of the public on mass shots involving transgender individuals when one blow struck him in the neck. The weapon, recovered later, was a powerful high bolt rifle found in a nearby wooded area. The authorities think that the shot came from a roof at around 200 meters.
While the suspect remains in freedom, the FBI recently released images, imploring the public to get help to identify the shooter.
