The ice recruitment reader sees rapid success with thousands of applications

EXCLUSIVE: Immigration recruitment and enhancement efforts prove to be a quick success with 141,000 requests and 18,000 provisional job offers since the recruitment push started at the end of July.

The Trump administration launched a campaign earlier this summer to stimulate ice personnel, in particular by offering major advantages, such as up to $ 50,000 in connection bonus, sorry for student loans and special retirement services.

“The Americans respond to the call of their country to serve and help withdraw the murderers, the pedophiles, the rapists, the terrorists and the gang members of our country,” said Noem.

The agency has carried out major operations in major cities across the country, notably in Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, DC, in order to execute mass deportations as well as the arrest of those of the country illegally with other criminal accusations or convictions. Other detention centers have also opened throughout the country to hold individuals before expulsion, including the Alligator Alcatraz in Florida.

The Big Beautiful Bill Act signed by President Donald Trump in July provides funding for 10,000 ICE agents. In mid-August, there have been 100,000 candidates since the start of the effort. In particular, the age ceiling, which is generally 37 or 40 years old, was nixed by the administration and encourages agents of the application of retired laws to join.

“We put an end to the age ceiling for the ice forces of the ice. Skilled candidates can now apply without age limit,” said Noem on X on August 6.

Ice currently has various operations in progress to achieve the objectives of the administration, in particular “Operation Midway Blitz” in Chicago and “Operation Patriot 2.0”, which each has the main objective of targeting criminals.

While many Democratic leaders have not wanted to cooperate with the federal immigration authorities, many Republican leaders openly help ice. Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced Tuesday that the State National Guard will help ice in the state with 40 people.

“The Arkansas National Guard is ready to support this mission by providing administrative and logistical assistance requested from the Ministry of Homeland Security”, Brig. General Chad Bridges, general adjutant of Arkansas, said. “Our guards are highly qualified and determined to allow federal agents to focus on their main operations.”
