Threats of public security targeted in massive immigration operations in Texas

A massive immigration application in southeast Texas has enabled more than 800 illegal immigrants, including gang members, murderers, predators of children and foreign fugitives, according to American immigration and customs application.

The agency said the arrests were the result of an operation of a week which took place from August 17 to August 23, focused on improving public security in southeast Texas after the region was strongly affected by the policies of former president Joe Biden.

A total of 822 illegal foreigners were arrested, including five transnational gang members, seven predatory children and three criminal foreigners found guilty of offenses linked to homicides, according to an ice press release. The agency said that 330 of the people arrested previously been sentenced to the United States and that 112 were expected previously and returned to the United States illegally at least once.

“In the past four years, transnational gang members, foreign fugitives and other criminal foreigners have taken advantage of the crisis at our southern border to enter the country illegally,” said Gabriez Martinez in the application of ice and moving.

Martinez said many of these illegal criminal extraterrestrials “have stayed in the Houston region and have wreaked havoc in our local communities.”

An illegal arrested in the operation, the National Mexican, 54, Alejandro Perez Miramontes, has already been expelled 12 times. Perez Miramontes was sentenced eight times for an illegal return, four times for an illegal entrance and twice each for theft, theft and burglary, and once each for intrusion and elude the arrest, according to Ice.

The agency said that among those arrested was also the national Salvadoran William Alexander Teins Amaya, a 35 -year -old criminal foreigner and a usual children’s predator. Ice said that Amaya has been sentenced three times for sexual offenses on children, including aggravated sexual assaults in a child in 2006, a non-registration as a sexual offender in 2015 and a sexual indecency with a minor in July.

Several others have also had recent sexual offenses on children in their files, notably Francisco Eduardo Bonilla, a 37 -year -old Salvado -Saltoran, who was found guilty of sexual indecency with a minor in the county of Harris, in Texas, in February.

Guatemalan national Jorge Eliseo Torres-Soto, 30, was also arrested in the operation after being found guilty of a child’s sexual assault in October 2024.

Manuel Ivan Castillo Estrada, a 36 -year -old Mexican national, was also arrested after being expelled three times and was found guilty of extraterrestrial smuggling and sexual assault of a minor in February 2024.

Another, the Zimbabwe National, Lloyd Tinashe Hwehwe, 36, had accusations of usual TFI, including a condemnation for drunk driving and an involuntary homicide in a state of intoxication in 2015. After being withdrawn from the United States, he returned illegally to the country and was found guilty of a second CFI in 2024.

Another sexual offender, Carlos Vega-Ramirez, 38, had been expelled and found guilty of sexual indecency with a minor, behind a minor for indecent purposes, DWI, in police fleeing, illegal counterfeit and reinstatement.

The National Salvador, Hemmerlindo Antonio Ascencio-Merino, 53, was also arrested in the Roundup. He is sought after in Salvador for an aggravated homicide and entered illegally in the United States in 2022 to try to escape the proceedings, according to the agency.

Ice also arrested Cruz Leandro Martinez Leiva, a member of the 25-year-old gang MS-13 years from El Salvador, who was found guilty of qualified flight and armed car in October 2018.

The agency said the operation was part of the Trump administration’s efforts to restore public security by targeting the “worst” criminal foreigners and offenders to the order of immigration. Several other federal agencies participated in the operation as well as in the Department of Public Security of Texas.
