Friday, Joe Kennedy III denounced his cousin, the secretary of human services (HHS), Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as “a threat to the health and well-being of each American” in a dazzling social media position.
The rare public reprimand comes one day after the controversial hearing of the Senate of RFK Jr., deepening a family quarrel which has fractured one of the most famous political dynasties in America.
Kennedy’s declaration saw more than 1.2 million times, opens the curtain behind the extraordinary rift inside the political dynasty.
Once synonymous with democratic unit, the Kennedys are now divided on the embrace by President Donald Trump by RFK Jr. and his appointment to the HHS secretary as part of a program “Make America Healthy Yard”. Joe Kennedy’s request that his cousin resigns a spectacular escalation of the quarrel.

In 2024, five of the brothers and sisters of RFK Jr. published a joint statement which exploited his approval as Trump as “a betrayal of the values that our father and our family are the most expensive. It is a sad end to a sad story”.
Caroline Kennedy later urged senators to block the appointment of her cousin’s office, writing in a letter of January 2025 that he was a “predator” who was “addicted to attention and” unqualified “to direct the HHS.
On September 4, RFK Jr. appeared during a hearing before the Senate finance committee. Senator Ron Wyden, D-ear., Accused him of having dismissed CDC scientists and replacing them with “cranks” and “conspiracy theorists” who “put children in danger, leaving parents confused and frightened”.

As Joe Kennedy wrote in his article, “none of us will be spared the pain he inflicts … These values are not present in the secretary’s office. He must resign.”
His cousin Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of President John F. Kennedy, hastened in real time, making fun of the testimony of RFK Jr.: “RFK Loser choks so badly live.”
With the controversial mandate of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in Trump’s cabinet, the Kennedy dynasty divisions are now spreading with some of the net strokes from the interior.
