The chairman of the James Comer Chamber’s supervisory committee, R-Ky., Sent a letter to the Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent by requesting suspicious activity reports (SRAS) concerning Jeffrey Epstein and his partner, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Commer sent the letter on Sunday, saying that its committee “examines the possible mismanagement” of the Federal Government’s investigation into Epstein and Maxwell, including the death of Epstein.

The letter has established a deadline of September 15 for the Treasury to produce relevant SRAs.

“It is essential that the Treasury produced on the committee certain SRAS to help monitoring the Committee on the Federal Government of the Federal Government of Laws on Sexual Traffic in general and in particular its management of the investigation and the prosecution of Mr. Jeffrey Epstein and Ms. Ghislaine Maxwell,” said the letter.

Fox News Digital contacted the Treasury Department to comment on the letter but did not immediately hear.

Earlier this year, Comer created the working group on the declassification of federal secrets, which asked that the Ministry of Justice discloses all the files related to Epstein. The DoJ began to present files to the Committee on August 22.

The other figures were also forced to appear, the former director of the FBI, Robert Mueller, the former director of the FBI, James Comey, and the former Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Mueller was to appear before the chamber’s supervisory committee on Tuesday in the investigation, although a familiar source told Fox News Digital that legislators “learned that Mr. Mueller had health problems that prevent him from being able to testify.”

“The committee intends to withdraw its assignment,” said the source.

Mueller would have been the second witness to appear in person before the committee after the former prosecutor General Bill Barr did it last month.
