“I have the impression that this is only part of my story to grow up and do bigger and better things. Whether it is to find another team, whether it is another opportunity in the NFL, that’s what it is,” he said in a published video to social media. “My time being with the Buccaneers was only brilliant. The city, my teammates, my coaches, everyone has paid in love and support for me and I will be eternally gratefully for that.”
He suggested that there could be a career for him outside of football, including music or modeling.
“I’m going to talk to my agent and we are waiting for the next opportunity. If it is in the NFL, cool, but God blessed me with a lot of talent to do things other than football,” he added.

His father, Deion Sanders, offered his own thoughts earlier in the week.
“It is my son, I am proud of my children, all. And I prepared my children for everything that could happen in life and in sport,” he said, he said via espn. “It is part of paternity, it is part of parenting, that is part of the relationship.
“So it is mentally where he must be, physically where he must be. We pray that he has another opportunity to go with a team, but if he does not do, the plans have already been put forward on what he will do afterwards.”
Sanders added that he was sure Shilo would be ok in one way or another.

“Shilo is a man of many talents,” he said. “I do not know if you know – he is a man of many talents and he will be straight. All the Sanders will be directly with or without football. You better believe it. You would better believe that I take care of me and I have always done it, and you know all what I mean. You better believe it.”
