The Governor of Missouri Kehoe provides for a special session to redraw the Congress cards

Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe has planned to call a special session to redraw the congress cards.
Kehoe told journalists on Friday that he was not ready to make an official announcement.
“When we are ready to make this announcement, we will take it out,” said Kehoe during a stop at the headquarters of the Missouri Soybean Association, the St. Louis post-Shipping reported.
“There are a lot of pieces of puzzle in motion. We always make sure what will work will work.”

This decision comes as President Donald Trump continues to put pressure on the states led by the GOP to redraw their political line lines to promote Republican candidates in mid-term elections.
The Missouri has eight seats at home, including two detainees by Democrats. Republicans want to change the partisan composition of the 5th district focused on Kansas City, potentially giving the GOP an additional room to the Chamber to support Trump policies, the website reported.
Similar efforts are underway in Texas and California.
Last week, Trump referred to the restart of the Missouri Congress cards.

“The big state of Missouri is now. Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Democrats have issued fundraising alerts related to the Redecoupage Battle, the website said.
“It is not only a district. It is a question of knowing whether the Missouri voters can choose their representatives or if the politicians can fake the rules to choose their voters. And with the political machine of Trump and a republican supermajority which pushes hard, the danger could not be greater,” said the president of the Missouri Democratic Party, Russ Carnahan, a former member of the Congress.
Ashley Aune, the chief of the minority of the State House, made fun of Kehoe, calling him a tool as a president.

“The Governor’s complete capitulation to the President’s will proves that Donald Trump – not Mike Kehoe – calls the shots at Missouri, while the Missourian man has chosen to direct our state is a simple puppet that responds to the orders of his master,” she wrote.
