Reform UK said he was ready to expel 600,000 asylum seekers from Great Britain to prevent “civil disturbance”.
The party leader, Nigel Farage, said that the plan includes the withdrawal of Great Britain from the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), the repeal of the Human Rights Act and the abolition of international treaties that block forced deportations, Reuters reported.
The ECHR, a cornerstone of the British human rights law, was used several times to interrupt the deportations of migrants considered in the country illegally, the BBC reported.

“We are not far from major civilian disorders,” said Farage at a press conference. “It is an invasion, because these young men illegally penetrate into our country.”
Nicknamed the operation to restore justice, the plan is the “only means” to prevent small boats from crossing the English chain, said Farage, adding that migrants intercepted at sea should be held and expelled.
“If we do this, the boats will stop coming in days because there will be no incitement,” he said.
The president of the Labor Party, Ellie Reeves, criticized the announcement, saying that she was lacking in details.
“Today, we have none of these things, nor a single answer to practical, financial or ethical questions about how their plan works,” she said.

The announcement follows weeks of small protests concerning mass migration and crimes committed by certain asylum seekers.
Great Britain received a record of 108,100 asylum applications in 2024, many of which were from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran and Bangladesh.
The survey shows that immigration has exceeded the economy as the main concern of voters. Reform UK, despite only four seats in Parliament, conducts surveys on voting intentions, reported Reuters.
