Trump’s sales advisor Peter Navarro was torn in John Bolton to “enjoy the American secrets” Tuesday after the FBI went down to his house last week in a classified document survey.
“I served with Bolton, and he was too often a loose barrel, tilted on the attacks and the state kicks – Doctor Strangelove with a mustache,” wrote Navarro, who also advised Trump on trade during his first mandate, wrote in an editorial to The hill.
“He agitated air strikes, pushed fantasies of regime change and obsessed with military solutions when diplomacy worked. Then, instead of honoring the executive privilege and the confidential debate, Bolton recognized that by writing his memory.”
Bolton published a book in 2020, “the room where it happened,” would have received an advance of $ 2 million for a time in the Trump administration. He was a Trump National Security Advisor from 2018, but expressed himself with the president and left the position in 2019.

Navarro accused Bolton of “sharing information on oval office conversations and national security which should have remained secret – either by law or under the executive privilege”.
“It is not a service. It is not patriotism. It is to take advantage of American secrets.”
Navarro noted that Bolton had described American confidential deliberations on how to fracture the control of the Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro and close military defections.
“This kind of plan is not something that you give to the public – or to the intelligence services of Maduro.”

He noted that the disclosure of national defense information without authorization could violate the American code.
“If evidence is found and accusation acts, Bolton could one day go to prison to shred this constitution, relax the executive privilege and the guarantees of trampling intended to protect the security of America,” said Navarro. “If that happens, Bolton will not remember his book tour. He will remain memories for the rest he writes in prison.”

Navarro spent four months in prison last year after being found guilty of outrage at the congress for having challenged the assignments to appear from the restricted committee of the chamber investigating the attack on the Capitol on January 6.
Friday, the FBI executed a search warrant on the home and the office of Bolton.
The Democrats also leaned Bolton’s book: when the former national security advisor refused to serve as a star witness during the first dismissal of Trump linked to Ukraine, they accused him of having saved the juicy details of his memories.
In June 2020, judge Royce Lamberth discovered that Bolton had “probably endangered national security by revealing classified information in violation of his non-disclosure obligations”.

He had submitted the 500-page manuscript for a national security review, but when the exam was not completed in four months, he “disconnected the process and sent the manuscript still undervalued the publisher to print,” said the judge.
Lamberth allowed the book to hit the shelves because “The horse has already come out of the barn“- Extracts from the book had already been disclosed and 200,000 copies had been shipped.
