One of the heroes of the most decorated battlefield in Russia was exposed as the alleged brain of a cheeky fraud program in which elite soldiers would have fired – and even their own commander – to perceive lucrative payments of battle injury, according to local relationships.

The scandal broke out last summer when a denunciator alerted the authorities, Kommersant reported. Frolov was arrested in June 2024, followed by Gorodilov a month later, said the point of sale, adding that the two are now faced with accusations of fraud.
