The candidate for the New York self -proclaimed democratic town hall, Zohran Mamdani, announced on Saturday a treasure hunt through the city with a campaign video which seems to aim for his opponent, the mayor Eric Adams, in the midst of alleged scandals surrounding the interior circle of Adams.
The clip – published on Mamdani’s X account with the legend “Game on” – begins with a camera following a track of Croustilles which lead to Mamdani, which is seated on a bench eating a bag of chips of rippage of sure and Herr onion.

The video, which had collected more than 30,000 likes by Saturday afternoon, follows only a few days after Winnie Greco, an old aid from Adams, was accused of having tried to put a journalist from the city in the city of a bundle of hidden silver in a bag of the same brand of Croustilles.

“Hello, my friends. I must be clean,” said Mamdani, nibbling the bag of chips. “I have something to hide. Many things, in fact, because we do a treasure hunt.”

Mamdani’s treasure hunt through New York begins at 2 p.m. Sunday, and participants will resolve a series of clues linked to the history of the city – each will lead them to the next location. The first index will be shared in a video on Sunday morning, and the final stop will show off a surprise, said Mamdani.
“At the last stop, you will find a special surprise – not a bundle of money,” said Mamdani in the video, bringing another blow to his rival.

“While New Yorkers are struggling to afford the most expensive city in America, Adams administration is too busy tripping on corruption accusations to come to their defense,” Fox News Digital told an email. “New Yorkers deserve a mayor who focuses on them, not stuck in the audience rooms. As for the video, we think that she is talking about herself.”

One day after the city exposed Greco about the alleged crispy incident, a handful of people from the inner circle of Adams, one of its former advisers, were charged in their own alleged corruption scandal.
The Manhattan district prosecutor’s office announced on Thursday four accusation acts alleging a payment program and other accusations against several ADAMS partners – including a former leading adviser, his son, two political donors and owners of local businesses.
