China condemns American military construction off the coast of Venezuela in the middle of the tensions

On Thursday, China condemned an American military accumulation off the coast of Venezuela among the efforts of the Trump administration to combat drug cartels, accusing Washington of engaging in foreign interference.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Affairs, Mao Ning, spoke with journalists when she was asked about the naval deployment.
“China is opposed to any decision that violates the objectives and principles of the United Nations Charter and the sovereignty and security of a country,” said Ning. “We oppose the use or threat of force in international relations and the interference of external forces in the domestic affairs of Venezuela on any pretext.”

“We hope that the United States will do more things conducive to peace and security in Latin America and the Caribbean region,” she added.

At least three destroyers of guided missiles Aegis – USS Gravely and USS Jason Dunham among them – are part of the mission which includes thousands of sea.
“The first day of the Trump administration, the president published a decree designating drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, clearly identifying them as a direct threat to the national security of the United States,” the Pentagon spokesman, the Pentagon chief on Tuesday.

“These cartels have embarked on historical violence and terror throughout our hemisphere – and around the world – which has destabilized the economies and internal security of the countries, but also flooded the United States of fatal drugs, violent criminals and vicious gangs.”
In response to “bizarre threats” by the United States, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro said that he would deploy 4.5 million militias.
The show of the military force comes as the Trump administration continues that Maduro is held responsible for drug trafficking in the United States
The administration described the Maduro regime as “narco-terrorist cartel”. Earlier this month, US prosecutor Pam Bondi announced a $ 50 million award for information leading to the arrest of the South American leader.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice said it had seized more than $ 700 million in assets linked to the besieged dictator, including two private jets and nine luxury vehicles.
