Letitia James’ lawyer calls the official House of the MJ to visit a “bizarre” stuntman “

A lawyer for the Prosecutor General of New York, Letitia James, wrote this week a scathing letter to the manager of the Ministry of Justice Ed Martin, exciting him for visiting James’ house and for having suggested to resign from his post.

Abbe Lowell, an eminent lawyer for white passes representing James, told Martin in a letter obtained by Fox News that Martin’s stop at the attorney general at Brooklyn last week was a “really bizarre media”.

“This photo opportunity orchestrated for your essential media, during an investigation, with the intention and / or the result of damage, Ms. James is outside the limits of the doj and the rules of ethics,” wrote Lowell.

Martin visit was documented by the New York Post on Friday. He later said to Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, whom he wanted to “put their eyes” and “see the property”. Martin shared a photo Wednesday on X of the visit.

Lowell’s letter comes after the Doj launched two investigations on the Grand Jury on James, one in the North New York district concerning his civil fraud trial against President Donald Trump and one linked to allegations of mortgage fraud in Virginia, where James helped his niece to buy a house in 2023.

Martin, who serves as a forgiveness lawyer for the DoJ and directs a “armament” working group, had special prosecution privileges to carry out the survey of mortgage fraud in James as well as one to Senator Adam Schiff, D-Calif., In Maryland. James and Schiff denied the reprehensible acts and afflicted surveys as a political compensation.

Lowell echoes this feeling in his letter this week and noted that Martin had made the unusual decision to call James to resign in the middle of his federal investigation on her.

“Only four days before your role, no research of facts or questions of law; instead, you have called Mrs. James to resign twice,” wrote Lowell. “The DoJ has firm policies against the use of surveys and against the use of the power of prosecution to obtain political ends. This is more and more the case where this request is made to take revenge for a public agent in the opposite party of the administration. Allow me to be clear: this will not happen here.”

Martin called James to resign in a letter to Lowell earlier this month, which said that Lowell violated the codes of conduct and previous judicials.

“At present, Letitia James would best serve the” good of the state and the nation “by de -immersion of her functions to solve the reference problems. … I would take this as an act of good faith,” wrote Martin.

Martin described his letter as “confidential” and shared a Social media message featuring him on his X account.

Martin said that a media leak of a letter that Lowell wrote in April was “professionally unacceptable and personally insulting”.

“To this end, I specifically ask you to redouble your efforts so as not to flee this confidential letter,” said Martin. “I prefer not to have to move to court to prevent you from fleeing.”

An MJ spokesperson and a Lowell representative did not respond to a comment request for this story.
