The Texas Republicans progressed the redistribution plan after the return of the Democrats

The Texas legislator is about to take a new bill on the redistribution of the Congress proposed Wednesday by the Republicans, after weeks of decline in Democrats.

We do not know how fast the Republicans will be able to vote on the redistribution plan, because he must go through a debate on the ground before voting. It is a victory for the Republicans, however, because the Democrats who fled the State in order to block the plan are now back to the Capitol. California Governor Gavin Newsom has followed suit, the Democratic Committee of Congress (DCCC) offering a card to the California Congress which would return five Republican seats to Democrats.

Meanwhile, more republican states, including Ohio, Florida, Indiana and Missouri, progress with or envisage their own redistribution efforts, just like democratic states such as Maryland and Illinois.

Nowhere was a redistribution battle, however, was more dramatic than in Texas, where around 50 legislators in the Democratic State have ripped off from a special legislative session to block the vote in early August.
