The Ministry of Internal Security (DHS) extends the detention centers with a new installation in the southwest of Nebraska and the Surnotage “Cornhusker Clink”.
As part of President Donald Trump’s thrust to add thousands of new beds to the national level for American immigration and the application of customs (ICE), just like “Alligator Alcatraz” and “Speedway Slammer”, the establishment increases the space of ice detention for illegal extraterrestrials awaiting deportation or deporting procedures in the region.
At the same time, the name of Cornhusker Clink recognizes the heritage of the region and is located about 200 miles from the state capital, Lincoln.

“To help eliminate the worst of the worst in our country, if you are illegally in America, you could end up in Cornhusker Clink du Nebraska,” she said. “Avoid arrest and self-repair now using the Home CBP application.”

Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” financed 80,000 new beds to use, which has contributed to an increase in facilities across the country.
“Alligator Alcatraz”, one of the best known installations, was opened in the Florida Everglades and can house up to 3,000 migrants, while the East Montana detention center in Fort Bliss outside El Paso, which opened on Sunday, can hold up to 5,000.

“Speedway Slammer” in Indiana will also last up to 1,000 migrants.

Back at Nebraska, the National Guard also helps ice officials to enforce immigration laws, involving around twenty soldiers.
In a statement supporting the repression of Trump’s immigration, the governor of Nebraska, Jim Pillen, said that he was “happy that our establishment and our McCook team could be responsible for helping our federal partners protect our homeland by housing the illegal criminal strangers wandering today.”
