First on Fox: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced on Tuesday a new national push to serve illegal immigrants from public health insurance programs.

As part of the new initiative, CMS will publish monthly registration reports to the States that identify the registrants of Medicaid or the Health Insurance Program (CHIP) whose status of citizenship or immigration cannot be confirmed through federal databases. These databases will include the systematic program of extraterrestrial verification for the rights (SAVE) of the Social Security Administration and the Department of Internal Security.

The first of these monthly reports was sent on Tuesday, said CMS in an announcement on the new initiative. Each state will receive an individual report during a month. Meanwhile, states will have to report to CMS on the results of their verification exams.

“We are tightening registration monitoring to protect taxpayers’ dollars and guarantee that these vital programs only serve those who are really eligible under the law,” the secretary of health and social services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said on Tuesday on Tuesday.

“Each dollar missile is a dollar removed from an eligible and vulnerable individual who needs Medicaid and Chip,” added CMS administrator, Dr. Mehmet Oz. “This action underlines our unwavering commitment to the integrity of the program, to protect the dollars of taxpayers and to ensure that the advantages are strictly reserved for eligible people under the law.”

Since President Donald Trump began his second term, the president of the GOP has taken several measures to ensure that non-citizens have not occurred to public advantages which are supposed to be reserved for American citizens.

One of the first stages that the second Trump administration made was an executive decree issued by the president in February. The ordinance ordered the federal agencies to identify the programs currently allowing illegal immigrants to receive federal services and to take the necessary measures to ensure that non-residents do not obtain advantages funded by taxpayers in violation of a law adopted in 1996 called the law on the reconciliation of the possibilities of personal and work.

Several weeks later, the Ministry of Health and Social Services indicated that it expanded the list of federal programs exploited by the government considered as public advantages. This decision increased the number of programs from 31 to 44.

Meanwhile, the provisions of the highly controversial republican expenditure group adopted last month added new legal obligations forcing states to more frequently verify the admissibility of Medicaid registrants at least twice a year.

Earlier this month, a judge told Trump health and social services to stop sharing information on registrations with the immigration authorities, after the administration began to share this information to help immigration and customs’ application (ICE) with their deportation efforts.

A coalition of more than 20 Democratic general prosecutors, led by the Prosecutor General of New York, Letitia James, continues the Trump administration on its new policies which require the verification of immigrant status to participate in programs funded by the federal government.

“For decades, states like New York have built health, education and family support systems that serve anyone in need,” said James last month. “These programs work because they are open, accessible and anchored in compassion. Now, the federal government withdraws this foundation under us overnight, endangering cancer screening, early childhood education, primary care, and much more. It is a baseless attack against some of the most efficient and inclusive public programs in our country, and we will not leave it.”
