A large number of arrests by the new Metropolitan Police Department of Washington DC in Washington will probably be illegal immigrants, predicts an expert.
On Wednesday, around 29 of the 45 arrests announced by the Trump administration were illegal immigrants. A day later, 15 of the 33 arrests were illegal immigrants, including a suspect in China.
“It will not be surprising to learn that an important part of the arrests that occur under federal intervention will be criminal foreigners,” said Jessica Vaughan, director of political studies at the Center for Immigration Studies, at Fox News Digital. “Washington, DC, has long suffered from problems with the street gangs which include or are mainly illegal foreign, partly because of the sanctuary policies, but also because previous waves of illegal immigration have led to large Diaporas of Central America in the region.”

“Gangs like MS-13 and 18th Street like to settle in these regions, so that they can recruit, extort and intimidate the population. Any city that tolerates illegal immigration will have a problem with criminal foreigners who know that they will be protected from the application of immigration,” added Vaughan.
This week, the prosecutor General Pam Bondi canceled the policies of the ministry’s sanctuary as part of a decision that would prevail over the laws of the city on this subject.
