The mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, was unleashed Thursday against the federal authorities, calling them a source of “troubles” in the city after agents were seen patrolling in front of a museum where the governor of California Gavin Newsom held a press conference to fight against the state plan to restart the cards of the congress.
Bass appeared in the Little Tokyo district of the city, where agents of the United States Border Patrol were present outside the event at the National Museum of the Japanese American and proceeded at least one arrest.
“Donald Trump, you think it’s a coincidence? Donald Trump and his servants, Tom Homan, hard to cook, decided by coincidence or not, whether it was a place to advance ice arrests,” said Newsom about operations outside the press conference. “I think it’s quite sick and pathetic.”

Bass, who severely criticized the Trump administration for having made raids for arresting illegal immigrants in the city, presented himself and questioned the time of the operation.
“There is no way that it was a coincidence. It was largely publicized that the governor and many of our other elected officials had a press conference here to speak of redistribution, and they decided that they were going to come by cutting off the nose in front of the governor’s face,” said a busy low, calling him “act of provaction”.
“They talk about troubles in Los Angeles, and they are the source of the disorder,” she added. “This is an administration, it is a customs and border patrol that has managed.”
Fox News Digital contacted US Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The White House quoted scales in California where migrant children have been rescued, as well as the arrests of migrants with a criminal record.
“If Karen Bass and Gavin Newscum want to find the source of California’s dysfunction, they should look in the mirror,” the White House spokesman Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital. “Despite Bass and Newscum’s best efforts to protect criminal foreigners, the Trump administration has our promise to shoot the worst from the American communities.”
“Recent operations successful in California include rescue 10 migrant children who were probably victims of human trafficking, Arrest of odious illegal extraterrestrial rapistsAnd striking Members of illegal gangs, “she added.” If Newscum and Bass were making their way, these children would still be victims and these illegal criminals are still in California communities. “”

Bill Essayli, the acting American lawyer for the California central district, which covers Los Angeles, responded to Bass’s comment on social networks.
“The mayor and the other Californian officials have the false impression that they are a real sanctuary of federal law,” he wrote on X. “No person or state is above the law. Federal agents will operate anywhere and at any time in the United States.”
The Trump administration has attracted the bass and Newsom for current raids in Los Angeles and around Los Angeles in order to catch and expel illegal immigrants with judicial lockers.
In July, Bass presented himself in the MacArthur park in difficulty of the city when federal agents carried out a scan of illegal immigrants, calling “scandalous” and “non -American”.
“Our law implementation operations aim to enforce the law – not on Gavin Newsom,” said assistant interior security secretary, Tricia McLaughlin, in Fox News Digital in a press release. “The CBP patrols every day of all the areas of Los Angeles with more than 40 teams on the ground to return it.”
Gregory Bovino, the chief agent of the customs sector and the protection of American border (CBP), said that Thursday’s operation concerned public security.
“Los Angeles is a safer place. As we will not have politicians who will, we do it ourselves,” Bovino told Fox News. “So that is why we are here today, as you can see, already making a safer place. We are happy to be here. Is not going.”

Newsom and his Democratic colleagues unveiled their match plan to counter a push by the president Donald Trump And the Republicans to create up to five Congress districts adapted to the GOP in Texas to the detriment of the seats controlled by Democrat.
“Today is the release day in the state of California,” said the governor. “Donald Trump, you pushed the bear, and we’re going to hit.”
