Republican senator Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma said he was not wearing a seat belt by driving to Washington, DC, because he would not want to be “stuck” in the event of a car.
“And by the way, I’m not kidding when I say this: I lead to Washington DC in my jeep … and I don’t curl,” said Mullin.
He made the comments during an appearance in the Wednesday episode of “The Ingraham Angle” by Fox News Channel, which was invited by Brian Kilmeade.

The senator explained that the reason he does not attach himself by leading to DC is because of the possibility of hijacking of the car – he does not want to be “stuck” in his vehicle if he needs to go out quickly.
“And I wear my seat belt all the time, but to Washington DC, I don’t because it is so widespread from the diversion of the car,” he said.

The legislator “is an undefeated veteran of the mixed martial arts (MMA) with a professional file of 5-0” and “was inducted into the temple of the fame of the fight of Oklahoma in 2016”, according to his Senate website.
