Former New York Governor David Paterson approves Mayor Eric Adams for re -election

Former New York Governor David Paterson said he would approve of New York’s in -office mayor Eric Adams for re -election.
“It will be an hour on the marches of the town hall, when I will approve of the mayor Eric Adams to be re -elected,” said the Democrat, speaking on Tuesday “Cats and cosby“Radio program on a future Wednesday event.
Adams, a democrat who took office in 2022, note Earlier this year, when he remained democratic, he would jump the primary democratic mayor and appear in the general elections as an independent candidate.

The assembly of New York State, Zohran Mamdani, won the primary mayor Democrat in June.

Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who finished second behind Mamdani in the primary of the Democrat mayor in New York, chose to continue to run for the role, despite the decisive primary defeat.
“The general elections are in November and I am here to win it,” said Cuomo in a video Message last month.

Earlier this year, Paterson approved Cuomo before the primary democratic mayor.
While discussing Tuesday in the radio program, Paterson explained that he wanted to approve Adams last year, but in the light of problems such as the indictment of Adams, he supported Cuomo, which was his “second choice”.
The case against Adams had already been rejected long before Paterson supported Cuomo before the primary.
