Festival -goers at a major musical event found themselves in a breathtaking situation after a popular fun walk suddenly closed, leaving several people blocked upside down in the air.
The incident occurred early Thursday morning in Boardmasters, a surf and music festival held every year in Cornwall, England. According to the video captured by the participants and a declaration of the event organizers, the journey of Apollo 13 underwent a brown power failure around 1 hour
An eyewitness video circulated on Tiktok showing that the runners were suspended above the ground, unable to move for about 20 minutes.
A Tiktok user who filmed the scene called him “Mad”, while another joked the wind which potentially moved the journey in the middle of suspension.

Another user who claimed to be part of the journey said: “He was just freezing cold”.
The Apollo 13 Ride, which goes to festivals and fairs across the United Kingdom, bears the name of the NASA 1970 bad spatial mission, when an oxygen reservoir in the service module of the spaceship has exploded.
The attraction includes a rotary arm and can accommodate up to eight people, four at each end, swinging cyclists up to 180 feet in the air. During the malfunction, up to four people were reportedly trapped in an inverted position.

Despite the dramatic visuals, the organizers insist that the security protocols operated exactly as planned.
“As a precaution of security, the journey automatically stopped with people on board,” a spokesperson for boardmasters said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “The driving operator immediately replied and helped all the guests in the walk within 20 minutes.”

“At no time were the guests in danger,” said the statement. “The journey has since undergone a complete security check and has resumed normal operation.”

The Apollo 13 driving was launched in 2024, and its operators regularly display updates and maintenance work behind the scenes on its Official Facebook page. An April article described the rigorous checks made before each event, including equipment inspections, lighting fixing and lubricating pivot points.
The four -day festival is expected to end on Sunday, August 10.
