President Donald Trump shared his reflections on the former Lieutenant-Governor of Georgia, Geoff Duncan, exchanging political parties after the GOP of the State expelled him earlier this year for disloyalty to the party.

Duncan, open critic of the president in recent years, has written a OP-ED in the Atlanta newspaper Tuesday, declaring that he joined the Democratic Party after being the Lieutenant-Governor of Georgia from 2019 to 2023 as a republican.

Trump did not chew the words in a social post of truth early Friday morning, calling Duncan a “total loser” and telling him “good riddance”.

“The former lieutenant of Lieutenant Geoff Duncan, from Georgia, is a total loser. Could never do anything, everything he has ever done was complaining. We no longer wanted him in the republican party, so I am told that he became a democrat,” wrote Trump. “Good geoff storage. You don’t even have any chance !!!”

Trump’s recent article on Duncan is not the only time he expressed the aversion to the expelled republican.

On August 3, 2024, Trump called to Duncan, whom he described as a “tramp”, to be removed from the Georgia Gop in one of the three messages that day, hitting the former head of state.

“It is a total light weight and went to work at a low salary for the false new CNNs. His only function is to make Donald J. Trump fall,” wrote Trump, in part. “Georgia should throw this” tramp “out of the party. It is not electable and not respected by anyone, apart from your light governor, Brian Kemp who, if it was not for me, would never have been governor …”.

Duncan wrote in his editorial that his decision to become a Democrat began to brew before Trump’s response to his loss during the 2020 presidential election and the Capitol events on January 6, 2021. He said that political disagreements also had an impact on his decision to exchange.

“There is no date on a calendar or a line in the sand which points to the exact moment my political heart has changed, but it did it,” he continued. “My decision was centered on my daily struggle to love my neighbor, as a republican.”

He was expelled from the Georgia Republican Party in January after approving former President Joe Biden during his re-election campaign in 2024, then approved former vice-president Kamala Harris when Biden abandoned.

Duncan, who is a contributor to the CNN, was also informed by the president of Georgia Gop, Josh McKoon, to stop using his republican references in public and media appearances after his expulsion from the party.

Georgia Gop also said that Duncan had used its republican title to “attack the Republican Party” in its role on CNN.
