The Democrat Stratège Anita Dunn, which was toasted by the chamber’s supervisory committee about the cognitive health of President Joe Biden, refused to answer all the questions of Fox News when she left her interview.
The main national correspondent for Fox News, Aishah Hasnie, asked a series of questions to Dunn while she was heading for an elevator.
“Ms. Dunn, can you answer a quick question for us? Was you against a cognitive test for President Biden?” Hasnie asked, although Dunn refused to answer.
“Are you afraid to share one of the results of a cognitive test? Would you have supported a cognitive test if the doctor would have approved it?” Hasnie continued to ask. “Do you think the president was able to serve another four years?”

Despite the knowledge of Biden since the 1980s, Dunn said that she was not aware of her stuttering until it was reported by the media in 2020. She reproached the media for pushing a story that the former president was old.
In addition, a second source close to Dunn confirmed that the Biden team decided not to do an interview with the Super Bowl last year, because they thought that the main coverage would be what he did with classified files and not Biden’s political decisions.
Dunn told the committee that the decision was made before the HUR report was published, confirmed the second source.
The report of the special lawyer Robert Hur, published after the interviews in October 2023, raised concerns concerning the mental acuity of President Biden, and underlined his difficulties in recalling key dates, such as the death of his beautiful son and his vice-president, and speeches in terms of discussion during discussions on poorly managed documents.
Despite the fact that Biden “voluntarily” has retained classified documents of his time as vice-president and senator, Hur refused to file a complaint, citing the representation of Biden as a “sympathetic and well-intentioned elderly man with a bad memory”. The report, combined with Biden’s public blunders, amplified the republican criticism of its mental ability for the presidency.

Unlike the assigned witnesses, Dunn voluntarily appeared for an interview transcribed with lawyers from the committee.
She first engaged with Biden when she was director of communications for the arm of the Senate Democrats campaign, the Senate Democrat campaign committee in the late 1980s.
Dunn was a central figure in the development of the communication policy during the term of Biden’s White House, and she played a key role by helping her prepare for re -election in 2024.
Her husband, lawyer Robert Bauer, is also known as a figure closely on the Biden orbit – would have been his personal lawyer.
