Senator Tim Scott, RS.C., met with Fox News Digital from his latest book “One Nation Always Under God” and explained why prayer and faith are necessary to make “extraordinary achievements” in life and the United States
The former presidential candidate has long been frank on his Christian faith, his commitment to the Church and his personal mission to disseminate the Word of God to those around him.
“The ordinary person can have extraordinary achievements as he begs on this subject, and he acts in accordance with his faith,” Scott told Fox News Digital. “Whether it’s the story of Burlog Norman Or Dorothea ten, they are stories of ordinary individuals who had an extraordinary impact, not only here in America, but in the world because they felt called by the Lord. “One of the most important parts of America is this notion of freedom and freedom,” added Scott. “This means that we have the right and the responsibility to make the best decisions for ourselves eternally and even if we are here. It means taking responsibility for making the best way for yourself.”
Scott’s message comes as statistics show that a significant drop in religious affiliation in the United States, a Gallup survey, has shown that weekly church attendance increased from 34% in 1992 to 16% in 2019.
Despite the fall in church attendance, the Pew Research Center estimates that around 62% of Americans still identify as Christians, although this number has been downwards in recent years.
