Ilay David, the 22 -year -old hostage brother, Evyatar David, said an emotional plea on Tuesday to the United Nations Security Council, calling for an urgent international action after a new horrible video showed that his emaciated brother was forced to dig his own grave into a Tunnel in Hamas.
The Security Council’s session was requested by Israel and is presented while the country is about to have a complete annexation of Gaza-a decision caused by the collapse of cease-fire talks and the release of disturbing images of hungry hostages.
Evyatar David was removed from the Nova Music Festival on October 7, 2024. In newly received images, it seems fragile – reduced to only 90 pounds – and has trouble speaking.

Holding a motionless of the video, Ilay David described an obsessive visual: “Like my younger brother, a living skeleton, was forced to speak and dig his grave, his hand chopped and well nourished by a Hamas terrorist entered the frame. Suddenly, Hamas has confirmed what we have known for months – terrorists have a lot of food.
“My mother and I couldn’t resolve us to look at him,” he said, speaking from a distance via Zoom, “but my father and my sister have done it. And now the images haunt them.”
Citing testimonials from former hostages – whose Tal Shoham, whose story was published for the first time by Fox News Digital – David said that the terrorists remained in neighboring rooms while deliberately subsiding captives as part of a “sick and twisted propaganda campaign”.
“This is a humanitarian crisis – the hostage crisis – which is not discussed here,” he said. “Not on the Security Council, and not in other UN forums. The very soul of humanity is marked by the barbaric actions of Hamas.”

The meeting of the United Nations Security Council was convened following the release of the latest hostage video. Israel estimates that as little as 20 hostages remain alive in captivity of Hamas – many in critical condition, with only days to live.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Gideon Sa’ar, who attended the session in New York, underlined before the meeting that, even if Israel continues to facilitate humanitarian aid in Gaza, Hamas deliberately sits on hostages.
“Evyatar was forced to dig his own grave. It is satanic,” he said. “These are bad crimes – like those committed by the Nazis and the Islamic State.”

Sa’ar has also warned that recent movements of several nations to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state have embarked Hamas and undermine negotiations.
“They gave free gifts from Hamas and an incentive to continue this war,” he said. “They directly murdered the agreement and the ceasefire. These countries have extended the war.”
Ilay David put an end to his speech with a desperate call: “We, the family of Evyatar, refuse to lose hope. We cry, we suffer, but we also fight with each fiber of our being. We will not give up until we see it here – until my mother and my father can hug him.”

“To the leaders of the world, to each member of this council and to the world community: your silence in the face of this monstrous cruelty is a complicity. I urge you – do not let them die. Acting now, before it is too late. Save Evyatar David. Bring my little brother to the house.”
Journalists asked by the Journalists of the White House on Tuesday if he had seen the video of Hamas by Evyatar David, President Donald Trump said he had done it, the calling “horrible”.
