President Donald Trump replied on Tuesday if he is trying to campaign for the White House a fourth time.
During a telephone interview on “Squawk Box” from CNBC, Trump discussed Labor statistics office The work numbers which, according to him, were “faked” during the 2024 presidential election to inflate the economic performance of former president Joe Biden. Because people like prices, and they like commercial offers, and they like these countries – they like foreign countries to snatch us. For years, they have torn us. A friend and an enemy and a friend. And the friends were worse.”
The 22nd amendment of the American Constitution indicates that a person can only be elected president twice. If someone takes over as president – as vice -president due to death or resignation – and serves more than two years in this mandate, the amendment declares that the person cannot be elected president. It effectively establishes a maximum of 10 years for anyone to be commander -in -chief.

George Washington established the tradition of resigning as president after two terms, but the amendment came in response to the four unprecedented mandates of Franklin D. Roosevelt. Roosevelt served during the great depression and the Second World War.
Trump at the beginning of this year, teased and moved away from the idea of a third term, because certain conservative circles floated to change the 22nd amendment to allow an exception for non -consecutive presidencies.
Before Trump, the last and the only other president to serve two non -consecutive terms was Grover Cleveland in the late 1800s.
In May, Trump said he considered it to “compliments” that “so many people” wanted him to flow in 2028, but said that it was not something he wanted to continue.

“I have never had as strong as that. But it is something at best with my knowledge, you are not allowed to do”, Trump MSNBC Kristen Welker told Kristen Welker. “There are a lot of people who sell the 2028 hat, but it’s not something I’m trying to do. I try to spend four big years and give it to someone, ideally a great republican. A great republican to move it forward. But I think we are going to be four and four years old, it’s a lot of time to do something really spectacular.”
Trump said he thought the Maga movement could survive without him, the floating vice-president JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio as potential successors.
