Representative Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, encourages Texas State legislators who fled the State in order to delay a vote on the new Congress cards which would give Republicans an important advantage in 2026.

Crockett deteriorated the republican effort and his donors, including President Donald Trump, whom she called a “ridiculous tyrant” in a five -minute message to the supporters of her Instagram page on Sunday evening.

“My colleagues, my former colleagues from the State House, they say:” Deule! We came out. We don’t like what you do. “So I’m really excited.

“We understand that this ridiculous tyrant is trying to do everything he can to break our democracy. But there are defenders of democracy who believe that he has absolutely defended the people. They understand the mission.”

Crockett herself was launched on the national scene when she was part of a group of Democrats from Texas Statehouse who left the State in order to delay a vote on a bill on elections supported by the GOP in 2021.

Democratic state legislators now accuse Governor Greg Abbott and Texas Republican legislators to follow Trump’s walking orders before acting to help people affected by the deadly floods with whom the Star Star State attacked last month.

“More than 130 Texans died during the floods of July 4. The Republicans responded with no flooding bills – and a redistribution regime in mid -December to help Trump cling to power. It is not a governing. This is the exploitation. We broke the quorum because the Texans deserve better,” wrote the representative of the State John Bucy III on X.

Abbott in turn accused the Democrats of relieving the floods themselves by paralyzing the state with their absence – and suggested that they should lose their elected roles.

“Our Texan colleagues are abandoned and do not receive the relief of the floods they need because these Democrats have fled responsibility,” said Abbott Le Fox News on Monday afternoon. “And I believe they have lost their seats in the state’s legislature because they do not do the work they were elected.”

Crockett said on Instagram that she was “excited” by Democrats fleeing in Chicago and New York.

“They understand the mission. They understand to whom they have been sworn in. They understand that they do not serve it. We do not serve it. He is not ours. He is not our constituent. He is not,” said Crockett about Trump.

“I hope that it will be the energy that more democrats must see so that we hope that we can start pushing back in a major way, because, unfortunately, it tramples our rights in a major way.”

Crockett also called Trump as “Orang-Outan” and “Temu Hitler” later in the video.

She laughed at Trump and her Republican allies, “This is what makes you real Maga, it’s like, you have to be on this thug life. You must be, like, deceive your wife. You must at least be removed if you have not been implemented.”

The Republicans currently control 25 of the 38 seats in Texas in the House of Representatives. Trump himself won 27 in the 2024 elections, although the Democratic representatives of the Henry Cuellar Chamber and Vicente Gonzalez kept their seats there.

As part of the new lines offered, Trump would have won in 30 districts of at least 10% each, according to the Texas Tribune.

Crockett herself, which represents part of the Dallas region, would see her house shooting its current district lines.

Abbott gave state Democrats until 3 p.m. local time on Monday to come together.
