Alex Cora says that ESPN “ Made S — Up ‘on rumors of the MLB trade deadline

With less than a week before the death of the MLB trade, the teams exceed the phones, while the players await their fate for the rest of the 2025 season and beyond.
The players will tell you that they are trying to keep the outside noise just outside. But it is difficult not to see it to come on social media flows, sports talk shows and more news acquisition paths.
However, the manager of the Boston Red Sox, Alex Cora, does not want his players to believe everything they hear and read. He distinguished a particular point of sale – that for which he worked.

“I can tell them stories about ESPN in the green room, how people have made S — Up – You know, professions,” Cora told journalists on Sunday. “And I can tell them that don’t believe everything that is said, you know?”
Cora is aware that rumors of the business time are what fans want to see, while teams try to improve their teams or look at the future by treating the best talents for future assets.

“You enter any social platform, and if you are looking for baseball, then your flow will be full of baseball stories, right?” Cora continued. “And there are many people who are very responsible for their trades, their rumors and their contacts. Others, they are not. So, block it.”
A source familiar with the case told Fox News Digital that ESPN holds its subjects, although it is not clear what Cora, who left the company almost 10 years ago to join the coaches of the Astros of Houston, was referring.

“I have stories, guy. I don’t want to bury people,” said Cora when a journalist asked who in ESPN he was referring.
Cora understands how difficult the deadline can be difficult from the player’s point of view considering his 14 seasons as one in MLB.
The Red Sox are one of these teams with a raised fans base that always looks at what they are going to do during this time of the year. It should also be noted that one of the best business names that goes around is Jarren Duran, the stars from the team’s stars which could be in motion before 6 p.m. Thursday.

Boston, however, is currently in a good position in the playoffs in a difficult Al East division at 57-50. They have the second joker niche in the American league, just behind their New York Yankees division rival.
