The aerial banner of Senator Rick Scott tells New Yorkers to flee socialism for Florida

Florida senator Rick Scott made an air announcement on Saturday through New York sky with a message encouraging residents to move in the state of Sunshine to escape socialism, if Zohran Mamdani becomes mayor of Big Apple.

The banner was seen above Coney Island and Jones Beach while the Fechers absorbed the sun.

“Do you hate socialism?” Read Scott’s air ad. “We too! Move 2 fl.”

Scott addressed the air banner in a press release provided to Fox News Digital.

“While many New Yorkers appreciate the beach this weekend, we will give them a friendly reminder that in addition to our world class beaches, Florida is the state where you can escape socialism,” said Scott, which led the state as a governor from 2011 to 2019.

The Republican senator criticized New York and Mamdani’s policy.

“New York City once represented the American dream – a city where everything was possible,” said Scott. “Today, it has now become the city where only billionaires can thrive, Jewish students are attacked on campus, capitalism is avoided and radical socialists like Zohran Mamdani are celebrated.”

Mamdani won the Democrat mayor of New York’s Democratary Mayor last month against former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. Mamdani is considered a favorite in the race at the Town Hall, although many in the Democratic establishment are not yet fully adopted by the socialist candidate.

Scott said New York has collected capitalism awards, “the best system in the world”, which is now “mean by Democrats across this country”.

“Democrats work 24 hours a day to discredit President Trump and demolish our country and rebuild it in their radical image awakened through socialist policies,” said the Republican. “But, it’s not new. It’s just an old barbaric and discredited idea that failed each time it was tried. Look at Cuba and Venezuela and the many families who fled these brutal diets to live in Florida.”

Scott said that during his political office post, he worked to ensure that Florida families could realize the American dream, including good jobs, education and safe communities.

“It is the American dream and it is deeply unhappy that it completely walks away in New York,” he said. “New York families deserve better.”
