“The president and his allies have created so much anticipation about these files at this stage, it is just weird that they do not publish them, right? The president has foyé,” she said.

But almost five years ago, before the possible victory of Biden and a Democratic trifecta in Washington, the question of Epstein was not a priority for the legislator, who at the time was at his first mandate in the House.

In a 2020 video obtained by Fox News Digital, Slotkin said that diving in the links between former President Bill Clinton and Epstein was not “in mind”.

The feeling came in response to a question about the reasons why there had been no mention of the allegations according to which Clinton was in the Treasury of documents related to Epstein. She argued that there were more urgent problems at the time, such as the Cavid-19 pandemic in progress and the economic benefits stimulated by her.

“I have no particular knowledge of these problems, but my work consists in focusing on the things that affect the wallets of people and their children, and if I do not make positive progress towards this, I do not do my job,” she continued. “And so, I cannot answer your question, because that’s not where I live and where I focus.”

Fox News Digital contacted Slotkin to comment on this report but did not hear.
