The Israeli Defense Forces (FRI) said that it would resume Ardrops of Aid to Gaza on Saturday evening while contesting the allegations of deliberate famine while the hunger crisis degenerates in the middle of its current campaign against Hamas.

The FDI said that in a press release, the air operation will take place in coordination with international aid organizations, the coordination of Israel for government activities in Israeli territories and air forces.

“The Airdrops will include seven aid pallets containing flour, sugar and canned foods that will be provided by international organizations,” the FDI said in a statement.

The designated humanitarian corridors will also be established “to allow the sure movement of the UN convoys providing food and drugs to the population”, according to the IDF.

“The FDI is ready to implement humanitarian breaks in densely populated areas and will continue to operate to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and eliminate terrorists in the fields of activity,” said the FDI. “Only this week, more than 250 aid trucks have been unloaded, joining hundreds of trucks waiting for level passages to be collected by the UN and international organizations.”

About 600 aid trucks were also distributed by the UN and other international organizations, said Israel.

Israel has also connected its power line to the Gaza desalination plant.

Gouging price and disagreements on how to obtain aid to citizens aggravate the crisis.

The UN provides for an increase in malnutrition and famine in the region.

The UN secretary general, António Guterres, described the situation in Gaza as “horror spectacle” this week “with a level of death and destruction without parallel in recent times”.

“The responsibility for food distribution to the Gaza population lies in the UN and international aid organizations,” said FDI. “Consequently, the UN and international organizations should improve the efficiency of aid distribution and ensure that help does not reach Hamas.”
